This is you. This is you. (这是送给你的) That very nice of you. (太谢谢你啦) Here something you. I got this you. This is your share. This is your portion. This is your part. This portion is you. What do you want your birthday? (请收下) Here you have it! If I Had My Life to Live OverI would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there the day.I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose bee it melted in storage. I would have talked less and listened more. I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the sofa faded. I would have eaten the popcorn in the “good” living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace. I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth. I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed. I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains. I would have cried and laughed less while watching television—and more while watching life. I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime. Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle. When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, “Later. Now go get washed up dinner.” There would have been more “I love you's”... More “I'm sorry's” ... But mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute... look at it and really see it ... live it ... and never give it back. Stop sweating the small stuff. Don't worry about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what. Instead, let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us. Let's think about what God has blessed us with. And what we are doing each day to promote ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, as well as spiritually. Life is too short to let it pass you by. We only have one shot at this and then it's gone. I hope you all have a blessed day. I am losing my mind." Your are not losing your mind. Losing your mind means being crazy(丧失理智,发疯)." "Out?" "Sleeping?" She is totally out, I mean she was sleeping that she didn't know I was there." Is there any Green Card? I need you to help me up." 原来,help me up这词组是当一个人摔倒的时候,需要别人拉他一把时才用的. help me out是请人帮忙的时候说的.help me out跟help me其实是一样的. Let me make a toast to the class" 我很好奇问旁边的同学,"怎么没有见到吐司",那位美国同学解释道,老师说的"make a toast"是美国俚语,意思是祝愿同学们. Ok, John that's enough. It's time we started talking turkey." 我结结巴巴地开口道"well, thank you . But I don't think now we should eat turkey,it's not Thanksgiving yet......." J: Do you want the pitcher? Do you want the pitcher?" 岂不是出洋相.pitcher 'pit∫э(r); `pit∫э n (a) (esp Brit) large (usu earthenware) container liquids, with one or two handles and a lip pouring (单柄或双柄, 带嘴的, 通常为陶制的)大罐, 大壶. (b) (US) jug 罐.J18: Did you burn the midnight oil? Did you burn the midnight oil last night?" Why should I burn oil? It is dangerous and against dorm regulation.
