Food lovers in Thailand will soon be able to feast on their favourite flavours from around the country at their local post office when Thailand Post launches a new "yummy" service, an official said Monday.Woodtipong Moleechad, vice president of Thailand Post, said the state agency was discussing the idea of a nationwide food delivery service with famous restaurants across the kingdom. He said that "Aroi Tour Thai Sang Dai Tee Praisanee" -- roughly translated as Yummy Nationwide From Your Post Office -- would launch in the next few months."The plan is part of creating new revenue for the post office," he said. "Meanwhile, people will have the chance to taste original foods."Woodtipong said the plan was for customers to place an order online or at a call centre, and budget airlines would fly the meals around the country.Dishes would include northern Chiang Mai's famous spicy herb sausages and northeastern Khon Kaen's grilled chicken, Woodtipong said. /200803/31200

In the process of any form of achievement there will be times where you take a step back – where things don’t go as planned and you fall into a bit of a slump. These moments can hurt, sometimes even enough to make you quite altogether. But don’t quit.Persistence is an aspect of success that many people struggle with because it is difficult to keep working, fly past the tipping point point. I hope these strategies make the road towards your goals simpler, with less interference from steps backwards. Identify the cause. Any solution requires a clear problem. What is it specifically that you’ve deemed to be a step away from your goals? When you break things down like this instead of responding immediately with “Everything’s gone wrong, I’m doomed!” you’re able to think logically without the interference of emotion. Smart decisions can be made in response. /200912/90810

1. Ex-BoyfriendsA big fat “DUH” better have escaped from your lips when you this, but it merits mention on this list. For your close, “sisterhood of the traveling pants” gaggle of girlfriends, this is one thing that will NEVER work out well. Let’s face it, unless you are a woman who considers “exes” guys you’ve had two or three dinners with, keep your ex boyfriends where they belong: trolling the streets wondering why they let you go. Oh and nowhere near any of your dear friends.

The Briton who won a competition for the "Best Job in the World" arrived on Australia's idyllic Hamilton Island Wednesday to begin his leisurely six-month posting in the tropical paradise.Ben Southall, 34, started by sending a blog from Brisbane airport departure lounge where he filmed himself alongside his girlfriend, Breanna Watkins."When we get there we're going to explore our house, and it's the first chance to drive the golf buggy as well, which is one of the massive perks of the job," he said. The outgoing charity fundraiser beat off thousands of competitors for the job in a hugely successful marketing campaign that captured the world's imagination and earned international awards for its creators. His brief as "caretaker" is to snorkel, swim and sail around the balmy Whitsunday Islands and send daily blogs and blogs with the aim of promoting the destination for Tourism Queensland. His movements will be recorded in exhaustive detail on two websites, www.islandreefjob.com.au and www.bestjobben.com, as well as social networking site Twitter.Southall earlier courted controversy when he admitted he would miss Britain's long summer days and traditional roast dinners, prompting newspapers to accuse him of being a "whingeing pom"."So when asked about the things I'd miss about the UK it appears I have to play my cards close to my chest for fear of reprisal by the tabloid newspapers both here and in Australia!"However, he later complained he had been placed in economy class for the long journey from Britain to Australia."Can you believe it....I'm in economy!! Oh well can't change the habit of a lifetime," he tweeted.Tourism Queensland chief Anthony Hayes insisted Southall would have to work hard and said the 'best job' stunt would help keep the industry afloat in the global downturn."Today is the beginning," he said. "All the publicity's been great but now it's about communicating with people who really will want to come to Queensland for a holiday.A government report this month warned Australia's tourism industry was at risk of losing thousands of jobs and billions of dollars in income after its share of global tourism dropped 14 percent between 1995 and 2008. /200907/76645

Get a Boyfriend Blazer Before you slip on a pair of weekday jeans, consider your workplace and what is appropriate—if you are a banker or a lawyer, you might be limited to twill trousers even on Casual Friday! But if you work in a more casual profession, try upgrading a sleek pair of jeans with a structured blazer. For a classic look, pair a black jacket (like Sarah Jessica Parker's velvet number) with dark denim or a bright white tuxedo design (like Gwyneth Paltrow's) with a lighter or acid-washed pair. Think suit and match light colors with light and dark with dark. /201008/111617

We can easily stumble through life without considering how our lack of manners and sloppiness affect others. To be elegant is not to be snobbish, but rather to be polished, charitable and discreet. Making the effort to be elegant means caring about how our manners and appearance affect others. Step 1 Practice the art of conversation. Don't get divorcedIf you've been through it, this will probably come as no surprise. Divorce can add years to a person's face, it is claimed.Researchers found that marriage breakdown can take a significant toll on appearance. They looked at identical twins, who would be genetically predisposed to age at a similar pace, to determine whether certain experiences affected ageing.'A person's heritage may initially dictate how they age but if you introduce certain factors into your life, you will certainly age faster, and likewise, if you avoid those factors you can slow down the hands of time,' said Professor Bahaman Guyuron, who led the study.Professor Guyuron and his colleagues gathered information from questionnaires and digital images taken from 186 pairs of twins. An independent panel of judges then viewed the images for perceived age differences between the siblings. The results showed that the twin who had gone through a divorce appeared two years older than the one who was married, single or had been widowed. Those who took antidepressants or were overweight also aged quicker. It is thought antidepressants can calm the facial muscles, causing them to sag in longterm users. The research was conducted by the Case Western Reserve University in the U.S., and published in the Journal Of The American Society Of Plastic Surgeons.Sun exposure, smoking and alcohol use were all found to have a negative effect on appearance. Dear Malia andSasha, I know that you‘ve both had a lot of fun these last two years onthe campaign trail, going to picnics and parades and state fairs, eating all sorts of junk food your mother and I probably shouldn‘thave let you have. But I also know that it hasn‘t always been easyfor you and Mom, and that as excited as you both are about that newpuppy, it doesn‘t make up for all the time we‘ve been apart. I knowhow much I‘ve missed these past two years, and today I want to tellyou a little more about why I decided to take our family on thisjourney。 When I was a young man, I thought life was all about me—about howI‘d make my way in the world, become successful, and get the thingsI want. But then the two of you came into my world with all yourcuriosity and mischief and those smiles that never fail to fill myheart and light up my day. And suddenly, all my big plans formyself didn‘t seem so important anymore. I soon found that thegreatest joy in my life was the joy I saw in yours. And I realizedthat my own life wouldn‘t count for much unless I was able toensure that you had every opportunity for happiness and fulfillmentin yours. In the end, girls, that‘s why I ran for President:because of what I want for you and for every child in thisnation。 I want all our children to go to schools worthy of theirpotential—schools that challenge them, inspire them, and instill inthem a sense of wonder about the world around them. I want them tohave the chance to go to college—even if their parents aren‘t rich. And I want them to get good jobs: jobs that pay well and give thembenefits like health care, jobs that let them spend time with theirown kids and retire with dignity。 /200910/86912

The average woman puts on her first pair at 12 and takes off her last at 63, when comfort begins to take precedence. She will start with a low one-inch heel and build up to a towering five inches by the age of 23, as she teeters into womanhood. There will be a small dip in the early 30s, when many women are running after young children. But the first real drop does not occur until the late 40s and early 50s, when the average heel falls to just under two inches. Only old age and increasing frailty finally brings the enduring love affair to a reluctant end, sales figure show. Said Debenhams spokesman Ed Watson: 'Deciding to put away their high heels for the last time can have the same psychological impact upon women that retiring from work has upon men. 'It's an all too public admission that they are getting older, and so naturally many women want to postpone this evil day for as long as possible. The central role of high heels in a woman's psyche emerged during Debenhams continuing extensive research into the entire women's shoe market. It reveals that the heel height worn by women begins to rise in early teens, increasing rapidly from 2.5cm to a whopping 13.5 cms by the age of 23. Walking tall continues to be the order of the day through a woman's late 20s and 30s, only beginning to decline slightly by the age of 35 - possibly due to childbirth, Debenhams figures show. High heels continue to feature prominently in her wardrobe through her late 30s and up until her mid 40s - the period when many women are building a successful career. The first real dip in heel height only occurs in a woman's late 40s and early 50s, when the average height drops to 4.5 cms. And a final drop to 2.5 cms - virtually a normal height heel - occurs from 63 onwards. Said Ed Watson: 'These results show that a woman's entire life can be mapped out according to the height of the heel she wears. After a meteoric rise, through youth and early adulthood, they begin to settle down before dropping back gracefully to a comfortable old age. /200911/90248

Strengthen Your Boundaries: Love yourself enough to say no to others’ demands on your time and energy. Step back amp; reassess the situation. A note from me this week over at TwitterMonthly Feature: I Dare You to Do Something Different:I am encouraging you and myself, for the entire month of June to put your whole entire beautiful self first. It’s not about ignoring your family members and friends nor becoming totally self absorbed. It’s simply about making sure you are nurturing and rejuvenating yourself sufficiently on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. Be mindful you are not ignoring nor depleting your own energy reserves unwisely and unnecessarily. This months dare is a double dare and an opportunity to experience how absolutely amazing you would feel if you:* eat and drank well - you’d be nourished and hydrated* conscious of your breath - slowing down fast shallow breathing* quality rest - getting a balance between busy and calm, yin and yang* said no more often without feeling guilty - strong personal boundaries* released stress and worry often with regular simple rejuvenation tips* softened your thinking and refreshed your mind - back in your body* added more moments of joy and bliss - know what fills you up* restored your soul by listening to its soft guiding voice - meditate or journal* spent more time outside to revive your spirit and soul - get groundedGet Your Groove Back By Rejuvenating You - I Double Dare You:It’s all about energy in and and energy out:This month I encourage you to observe just how much time you spend on giving energy out compared to receiving energy in. The ultimate goal of course is to add more and more moments of receiving energy in; so you feel full, whole and complete rather than half empty, drained and depleted.A more balanced and equal exchange of energy in and out is what we are all aiming for to rejuvenate ourselves naturally.Emotional upset drains you in an instant:Personal rejuvenation is even more urgent if you have been exposed to a recent emotional upset. Emotional trauma is one of the quickest and easiest ways to deplete your energy reserves in an instant. It often comes without warning and turns your world upside down. The more intense or the longer the emotional upset continues the greater the focus needs to be on putting yourself first. It takes time and energy to re build your energy levels and internal strength again. Have patience and put yourself first more often. You only have two choices:1. Rejuvenate regularlyor2. Deplete yourself with physical, emotional and mental exhaustion and then wait for the illness to arriveStart Rejuvenating Now:Simply put yourself first for the month by focusing on one or more of the above suggestions I have listed (just under the photo). You may choose to put yourself first by frequently focusing on your breath. When your breathing is shallow and fast your thinking is hurried and fast. You talk fast, eat fast, drink fast, become anxious and work fast. It’s a classic symptom of stress.By observing your breathe and becoming conscious of slower, deeper breathes you are sending quality, life giving oxygen into your body and brain. You greatly calm your mind and actions along with releasing stress and tension with each long slow exhale. All this and much more happens when you simply choose to put yourself first and focus on your breath. For me personally I’m going to focus on strengthening my boundaries and releasing stress and worry more often. Sounds like a rejuvenation plan to me.Now, go forth and rejuvenate. /200808/46209
