Most of the educational games that are out there today are really flashcards. Theyre glorified drill and practice. They dont have the depth, the rich narrative that really engaging games have,它们没有真正打时的那种耐玩性,丰富的游戏互动性,that the boys are really interested in. So we need to design better games. We need to talk to teachers and parents and school board members and politicians. We need to make sure that people see that we need more men in the classroom. We need to look carefully at our zero tolerance policies. Do they make sense? We need to think about how to uncompress this curriculum if we can,我们要思考我们该怎样解压这课程,trying to bring boys back into a space that is comfortable for them. All of those conversations need to be happening. There are some great examples out there of schools这里也有一些很好的学校--the New York Times just talked about a school recently. A game designer from the New School put together a wonderful gaming school. But it only treats a few kids, and so this isnt very scalable. We have to change the culture所以我们得改变学校里的男孩文化and the feelings that politicians and school board members and parents和改变政治家,学校董事会成员和父母对待男孩文化的想法,它是有关今天在我们学校,have about the way we accept and what we accept in our schools today. We need to find more money for game design. Because good games, really good games, cost money,因为好游戏,非常好的游戏是要花钱的,and World of Warcraft has quite a budget. Most of the educational games do not. Where we started: my colleagues -- Mike Petner, Shawn Vashaw, myself --我们从哪里开始呢:我同事--迈克·派特纳,肖恩·瓦绍和我,we started by trying to look at the teachers attitudes我们开始了解老师对此的态度and find out how do they really feel about gaming, what do they say about it. And we discovered that they talk about the kids in their school,我们发现她们在学校谈到男孩打游戏,who talk about gaming, in pretty demeaning ways. They say, ;Oh, yeah. Theyre always talking about that stuff. Theyre talking about their little action figures他们谈论着他们的小英雄人物and their little achievements or merit badges, or whatever it is that they get.和他们的网上小成绩或者获得的徽章,或者任何他们赢得的奖励。And theyre always talking about this stuff.;他们常常谈论这些东西。”And they say these things as if its okay. But if it were your culture, think of how that might feel. Its very uncomfortable to be on the receiving end of that kind of language. Theyre nervous about anything that has anything to do with violence老师们对任何涉及暴力的东西都感到焦虑,because of the zero tolerance policies. They are sure that parents and administrators will never accept anything. So we really need to think about looking at teacher attitudes所以我们的确要思考审视老师的态度and finding ways to change the attitudes找到改变这态度的方法so that teachers are much more open and accepting of boy cultures in their classrooms. Because, ultimately, if we dont,因为,最终,我们要是不改变,then were going to have boys who leave elementary school saying,就会有离开小学的男孩子说,;Well I guess that was just a place for girls. It wasnt for me.“好吧,我猜学校只是适合女生待;并不适合我。So Ive got to do gaming, or Ive got to do sports.;所以我要去打游戏,或者玩体育。”If we change these things, if we pay attention to these things,如果我们改变这些事,如果我们关注这些事,and we re-engage boys in their learning,我们重新唤起男孩学习的热情,they will leave the elementary schools saying, ;Im smart.;他们在离开小学时,说,“我变聪明了。”Thank you. And then we decided to take New York as a test case,后来我们决定拿纽约做实验案例,and we looked at Lower Manhattan. And we mapped all the building area in Manhattan. On the left is Manhattan today:左边是现在的曼哈顿:blue for housing, red for office buildings, retail. On the right, we reconfigured it:右边是我们重新配置的样子:the office buildings form the base,办公区做为底部,and then rising 75 stories above,向上延伸 75 层楼高,are apartments. Theres a street in the air on the 25th level,在25楼高的空中有条街,a community street. There are gardens and open spaces还有花园和开放空间for the community,供社区使用,almost every unit with its own private garden,几乎每户都有私家花园,and community space all around. And most important, permeable, open. It does not form a wall or an obstruction in the city,城市没有筑起任何围墙或障碍物,and light permeates everywhere. And in the last two or three years,一直到最近两三年,weve actually been, for the first time,我们才首次真的realizing the quality of life of Habitat实现“栖地”的良好生活质量,in real-life projects across Asia. This in Qinhuangdao in China:这是中国的秦皇岛市:middle-income housing, where there is a bylaw中所得家户的住宅,that every apartment must receive规定每间公寓都必须能拥有three hours of sunlight. Thats measured in the winter solstice. And under construction in Singapore,这是在新加坡的施工现场,again middle-income housing, gardens,同样是中所得家户的住宅、花园、community streets and parks and so on and so forth. And Colombo. And I want to touch on one more issue,我想再谈一个议题,which is the design of the public realm. A hundred years after weve begun building with tall buildings从百年前,我们开始盖高楼大厦至今,we are yet to understand我们还是不了解how the tall high-rise building高楼大厦要怎么变成组合、堆栈式建筑,becomes a building block in making a city,同时打造城市in creating the public realm. In Singapore, we had an opportunity:在新加坡,我们有了机会:10 million square feet, extremely high density. Taking the concept of outdoor and indoor,以室外与室内的概念来看,promenades and parks integrated with intense urban life. So they are outdoor spaces and indoor spaces,那里有室外和室内空间,and you move from one to the other,你可以在不同的空间移动,and there is contact with nature,还能亲近自然,and most relevantly, at every level of the structure,最贴切的是每一层楼都有public gardens and open space:公共花园和开放空间。on the roof of the podium,在墩座顶部,climbing up the towers,攀上高塔,and finally on the roof, the sky park,最后抵达屋顶上的空中花园,two and a half acres, jogging paths, restaurants,两英亩半,有跑道、餐厅,and the worlds longest swimming pool. And thats all I can tell you in five minutes. Thank you. 201504/368097I do not know how to apologise, but I had to do what I had to do this morning because we are trying to resolve what we call the Greek crisis in Europe and I had to spend some hours on that. I would have preferred to be together with the Prime Minister this morning to address the EU-China Business Summit, but it was not possible. So, on my knees, I am apologising to you, but before apologising to you, I am apologising to the Chinese Prime Minister. I wanted to see him as early as possible because I am a great admirer of China. My first official visit in my former capacity as Luxembourgish Prime Minister to China was in 1996 and I went back to the country five, six, or seven times – I do not even remember, but the Chinese secret services must remember how often I was in China. If the Chinese do not know, ask the Americans, because they do know it exactly; because I was always admiring the performances of this great nation, of the leaders of that nation and although from time to time we have divergences on views, mainly as far as human rights are concerned, I was always strongly believing in the capacity of the Chinese nation and of the Chinese leadership to engage with us on common avenues. So I am happy to meet the Chinese Prime Minister in my new capacity after having met the Chinese President back in November – if I remember it correctly – in the margin of the G20 meeting in Brisbane, Australia.A solid partnershipI do think that we have to build a solid partnership between the Peoples Republic and the European Union.Together we now have one of the worlds biggest trading relationships. We have to do more in order to better interconnect the Chinese and the European Unions economies. The Chinese do not know it, the European citizens do not know but our trade volume is201508/393348成都/素秀江南学习唇妆唇部纹绣价格

Prime Minister, Mr President, Madam Speaker, Chief Justice, Leader of the Opposition, Ministers and Members of Parliament, members of the Diplomatic Corps, distinguished guests, ladies and gentlemen – thank you for your truly warm welcome. When Catherine and I arrived in Sydney last week, I said how much we had been looking forward to this visit. Drawing on my own experience, I told Catherine that it would be wonderful, and so it has been. Anticipation has become deep admiration. There is so much to admire about Australia. Catherine and I acknowledge the timeless values of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. They have been the custodians of this ancient and majestic continent for thousands of years. The Traditional Owners’ stories, and the magnificent and moving rock art at Uluru, which we saw for ourselves, are a priceless inheritance. They tell us not just about the past but provide a precious vision for the future. Catherine and I had the privilege earlier this week of visiting Sydney’s Taronga Zoo, which is committed – through conservation – to just such custodianship. And I know, too, how important Australian support has been for the global consortium, ed for Wildlife, which is fighting the scourge of the illegal trade in wildlife, and poaching, something very close to my heart. Australia has a quality of life and a level of excellence that makes it a magnet: an enormously attractive place to live, trade, invest, and indeed just visit. The arts and sciences flourish; Australian sporting success is legendary; agriculture – from the traditional to the technologically most advanced – is hugely successful. This is a country that is in the front rank internationally. We have both seen all this for ourselves. Australia may be known as “the Lucky Country”, but often the harder you work, the luckier you get. Australians make their own luck. The distinct Aussie formula that has fashioned such a dynamic society is the source of admiration and envy around the world. What Australia has achieved goes much wider than Australia itself. The last thirty years have seen the rise of the Asia-Pacific region. In a short time, it has become an economic power house with huge consequences for the whole world order. The Asia-Pacific region is now a key actor – sometimes the key actor – in confronting many of the global challenges of the twenty first century. It is enormously important – and reassuring – that Australia is at the heart not just of its own success but of the wider regional story, too. Australia is a champion of justice and economic and political freedoms. Australia plays an invaluable role in building an open and peaceful Asia-Pacific for the benefit of all. Over the years, Australians have fought bravely for freedom in numerous conflicts. As those who were involved pass on, succeeding generations must remember and keep vivid the sacrifice they made. Catherine and I look forward to paying tribute to them at tomorrow’s ANZAC Day commemoration; and – with my brother Harry – to taking part in next year’s Gallipoli centenary. Reluctantly, Catherine, George and I leave Australia tomorrow. Thank you for the warmth and generosity that has been shown to us during our visit. We go away with wonderful memories, and George goes away with his cuddly wombat, which he has taken to chewing so lovingly. We greatly look forward to coming back. And when we do return, it will be to marvel again at all that Australia is, and will yet become.201504/371971 巴中纹绣技术学习培训学校巴中新起点化妆纹绣学校韩式半永久纹眉定妆培训
